Kaitlyn and Mikayla Senior Portraits - Galveston East Beach and Strand

*Special for seniors… Rate is $125 for a session if you book it before the end of April (The session itself can take place anytime throughout the year)*
Two of my cousins (who are sisters) needed some senior portraits, so I was more than happy to help out! I'd found a couple of really great locations on the Strand in Galveston soon before these were taken, so I used them to our advantage.  From there, we moved on to my favorite near-town area of the beach on the East end of the island.  It also happened to be a beautiful (windy) day, and I'm always appreciative of those.

Jaime and Trevor Post-Wedding - East Beach and Kempner Park Galveston

Jaime and Trevor came into town from Austin for their honeymoon and needed someone local to shoot their post-wedding photos, and I was happy to oblige.  I even pulled out my c.1900 Rochester 8x10 for this one!  We started in Kempner park, and then made our way down to East Beach.  This is a perfect example of when weather doesn't cooperate, and you just have to make the best of it.  I still think they turned out well - even with the sun hiding behind clouds.

Holly and Steven Engagement Shoot @ Galveston Train Museum, East Beach

I got the opportunity to shoot both engagement and wedding photos for these two, and enjoyed both!  Getting to work at the Galveston Train Museum for both was super fun, and kind of like a little boy's dream come true.  Holly and Steven both loved playing up the historic vibe of the space.  If you've never been there, make sure you check it out sometime.  History, Art Deco design, and Trains(!) converge in one spot - how much better does it get?
