Bryson's Senior Photos - Manvel High School

And now for something completely different!  It's been soooo long since I have posted anything, so I thought I'd share my latest Senior shoot.  This was actually the result of a promotional senior photo shoot giveaway I did this year.  Congrats to Bryon Rector from Manvel High School for winning the contest.  Bryson is the first athlete I've photographed, Senior or otherwise, and I like the results!

Beau on the Bayou!

Check out this handsome fella - who just happens to be my 'baby' cousin.  Not so much a baby anymore, as today is his 18th birthday!  I was honored to get to do his senior portraits a few weeks back.  I think we found the perfect spot for the shoot, and I even broke out my 4x5 for this one.  Keeping this location a secret… but it's closer than you think.  Love the light through the Old Spanish Moss!

Happy Birthday, Beau!

Mercedes and Teague - Sisters and Graduates

These two graduating sisters had so much school spirit for U of H, and hey - that just happens to be my alma mater!  Congratulations to Mercedes and Teague on graduating from the university!  Another fun shoot in Alvin under beautiful skies.  We also used a new location that I believe I'm going to revisit.

The Pianas come to Alvin!

This is another shoot from late last year for a holiday card.  The Pianas are fun to work with and always have good ideas for poses, and always seem to coordinate their outfits so well (Colors!).  I love the one of them racing across the Mustang Bayou walking bridge.  We chose to shoot in Alvin at some of my favorite locations here.  I'm steadily exploring and expanding my knowledge of the area, trying to find more and more places to shoot, but for now you'll see some of the same locations showing up in my work.

Lauren and Matt (and Family) - Pre-Deployment Photo Session

Could these two lovebirds be any sweeter!?  Lauren contacted me for a session just before Matt's deployment and I'm glad we were able to make it happen on Labor Day.  It turned out to be such a nice day, and we were able to get a few shots with Matt's Mom and brother, Corey, too.  This was my first pre-deployment shoot, and I think we were all very pleased with the way it came out.  It's been said before, and is so true that one of the great perks of being a photographer is all the wonderful people you get to meet along the way.
